Ancestral Healing
Reconnect with your lineage through mindful, grounded ceremony, and ancestral guidance.
Service Description
I guide you through ancestral lineage healing—a practice that recognizes our ancestors as living influences in our daily lives. Drawing from my own indigenous Mexican lineage, I understand personally the importance of reclaiming ancestral connection and healing cultural breaks caused by colonization. This work goes beyond genealogy or therapy; it's about coming into conscious relationship with your lineage for personal, family, and cultural healing. My Approach This work honors that we each carry ancestral blessings and burdens forged across generations. Rather than working directly with troubled or recently deceased ancestors, we connect with your ancient, spiritually vibrant lineage elders—those who achieved peace and wisdom long before cultural breaks or trauma occurred. The process invites your ancient ancestors to serve as collective healers, stepping in to transform generational patterns and cultural wounds. This approach bridges psychology, spirituality, and cultural restoration while honoring animist traditions that understand healing through connection and interdependence. Perfect for You If: • You feel disconnected from family or cultural heritage • You notice repeating patterns across generations in your family • You're drawn to ritual, ceremony, and earth-honoring spiritual practices • You want to transform intergenerational trauma through spiritual means • You're called to participate in broader cultural and Earth healing work What to Expect: Each session creates sacred space through ritual preparation that honors both your lineage and the land we're working on. We'll explore your family patterns and identify the gifts within your ancestral lines, then invite your ancient well ancestors to guide healing for more recent generational wounds. You'll receive practical tools for maintaining this ancestral connection in everyday life, along with cultural context about how historical events may have affected your lineage. This work is particularly resonant for those seeking to heal colonial trauma and reclaim indigenous ways of knowing. This work serves both the living and the many generations before us, connecting back to ancient wisdom that holds the world together.

When I come to Selina with an intention or my awareness on a certain place in my body that is in pain or wants attention, I am awe struck at how, in the process of their work, they accesses the source below the source of the issue. Their ability to discern whether particular areas of the body are communicating a need for deep attention and release, if it has a story to tell, wants to be softly touched or witnessed, etc. is such a strength. They tend to the needs body is communicating with reverence and diligence. One of my favorite experiences with Selina is that they can intuitively hear the body asking for a practice to take home and integrate into my life and it feels like an unnamed longing that lands with me and opens up so much possibility. In this way, the session extends and the healing continues to unfold long after the session is over.
