Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Creating conditions for your nervous system to relax and reorganize from within.
Service Description
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a gentle, non-invasive hands-on therapy that works with subtle rhythms within the body. This approach supports your nervous system's natural ability to relax and reorganize from within. My Approach BCST evolved from osteopathic principles, focusing on your body's healing intelligence rather than forcing change. Using very light touch—no more than the weight of a nickel—I listen to subtle movements in tissues and fluids around your head, spine, and sacrum. Sessions involve therapeutic presence and periods of stillness that allow your system to settle naturally. This work doesn't manipulate or force; instead, it supports what your body is already trying to do, helping resolve stuck patterns of tension, stress, or trauma. Perfect for You If: • You're dealing with chronic stress held in your body • You prefer gentle, non-invasive healing approaches • You're interested in nervous system regulation • You want deep relaxation and restoration • You're seeking complement to other therapies What to Expect: You remain fully clothed while lying comfortably on a massage table. I place hands gently on different areas—often starting at your feet, then moving to head, sacrum, or other areas. Sessions involve quiet listening and stillness, allowing your nervous system to slow down and reorganize. You may experience deep relaxation, subtle sensations of movement or warmth, or simply peace and rest. Some fall asleep while others remain aware of gentle shifts. What Clients Report: • Deep relaxation and improved sleep • Reduced anxiety and feeling more centered • Relief from chronic pain and tension • Enhanced well-being and vitality • Better stress management • Greater body awareness Important Considerations: BCST is offered as complementary approach for relaxation and stress reduction. While many clients report benefits, scientific evidence for craniosacral therapy's effectiveness is limited and mixed. The theoretical foundations aren't supported by current anatomical understanding, though many find value in the deep relaxation this work provides. This should not replace conventional medical treatment for serious conditions and works best as part of comprehensive health approach.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: I ask for 48 hours notice of cancellations. Cancellations within the 48 hour timeframe are subject to a 50% fee unless the client reschedules a session within 48 hours of the original appointment time. Same-day cancellations/no-shows are subject to the full service charge.

When I come to Selina with an intention or my awareness on a certain place in my body that is in pain or wants attention, I am awe struck at how, in the process of their work, they accesses the source below the source of the issue. Their ability to discern whether particular areas of the body are communicating a need for deep attention and release, if it has a story to tell, wants to be softly touched or witnessed, etc. is such a strength. They tend to the needs body is communicating with reverence and diligence. One of my favorite experiences with Selina is that they can intuitively hear the body asking for a practice to take home and integrate into my life and it feels like an unnamed longing that lands with me and opens up so much possibility. In this way, the session extends and the healing continues to unfold long after the session is over.
